In order for Freelance Computers to be able to offer our ’Remote Support Service’ you will need to download our remote support software onto your PC.

The “TeamViewer Unattended Host Support” will install our remote support software onto your PC and will be running all the time, so that Freelance Computers can log into your PC without you having to initiate any software yourself.

This service is useful if you want to have unattended support carried out after normal work hours support or are not in the office to physically start the remote support software yourself.

Please follow the step by step instructions before:

  1. Download TeamViewer Host Support Software by clicking this link: REMOTE SUPPORT SOFTWARE
  2. Depending on the browser you use you will be asked to ’Run’ or ’Save’ the file
  3. Choose ’Run’ if you have this option, if not save the file to your Download Folder (default folder) and then ’Run’ the file from there
  4. Depending on the security settings and security software you have installed you may have a pop-up box asking if you want to allow the program to make changes to the computer, click the ’Yes’ button
  5. You will now have a ’Welcome to TeamViewer’ window appear, please click the ’Next’ button
  6. You will now be asked how you want to use TeamViewer, choose ’Company / Commercial use’ then click ’Next’
  7. Check the small box ’I accept the Terms of the License Agreement’ and click ’Next’ again
  8. The software will start to install.
  9. Click ’Next’ to the box titled ’ Setup unattended access’
  10. On the next screen enter a 6 digit password and then confirm that password, then press ’Next’ again
  11. The next screen will ask ’Add this computer to Computers & Contacts’ please click on the button marked ’I don’t want to create a TeamViewer account now’ and then click ’Next’
  12. You will then see a screen with a 9 digit ’ID’ number
  13. Click the ’Finish’ button
  14. Please tell Freelance Computers that ID number along with the password you used during the setup to allow them to securely connect to your PC

In order for Freelance Computers to be able to offer our ’Remote Support Service’ you will need to download our remote support software onto your PC.

The “Quick Support” requires you to run the software each time you want Remote Support from Freelance Computers.

Please follow the step by step instructions:

  1. Download TeamViewer Quick Support Software by clicking this link: REMOTE SUPPORT SOFTWARE
  2. Depending on the browser you use you will be asked to ’Run’ or ’Save’ the file
  3. Choose ’Run’ if you have this option, if not save the file to your Download Folder (default folder) and then ’Run’ the file from there
  4. Depending on the security settings and security software you have installed you may have a pop-up box asking if you want to allow the program to make changes to the computer, click the ’Yes’ button
  5. The program will then open and will show a small box outlining a unique ’Your ID’ number
  6. Please tell Freelance Computers that ID number and password to allow them to securely connect to your PCDo not close the TeamViewer Quick Support software as this will disconnect the remote support connection
